For students
Students in grades 3 to 13 use the Correct Spelling App to practice spelling in German or English, based on the most common spelling mistakes.
Practicing the most common German or English spelling mistakes is a very efficient method and brings great benefit, as these words are often misspelled and may appear in the next dictation or essay.
Our goal is to simplify spelling practice and foster a love of writing and the German or English language. The inclusion of quotes and proverbs aims to make practicing the most frequently misspelled words fun. The Correct Spelling App is designed to complement school lessons and promote learning success. It is suitable for students from elementary school through high school.
Mastering German or English spelling is a crucial prerequisite for everyday life and work. Listening to the words, writing them in full, and relating them to quotations or proverbs provides intensive training for spelling and memory.
Especially with elementary school children, it's a good idea for parents and children to complete two practice lists together daily for a maximum of 10 minutes. Initial tests have shown that discussing the quotes and proverbs with the students is also enjoyable. Ideally, the mistakes should also be written down on a separate sheet of paper for practice.
Regular practice is crucial for effective learning. Therefore, the goal was to provide an engaging learning experience while also integrating learning objectives and intelligent training algorithms into the app. Depending on the level, the words in the Correct Spelling App become more complex, and the quotes and proverbs more challenging.
Our most important goal is for students to remember the corrections to their mistakes and thereby improve their spelling.
Good mental math is a matter of practice and helps in many situations to assess the situation more quickly and accurately. By practicing aloud, tasks can also be solved together as a family, for example, while driving or after dinner. This way, parents don't have to come up with math problems themselves and potentially discuss the number of tasks with their children."
