The database, which contains over 2,000 common spelling mistakes, was built carefully. It includes frequently misspelled words from dictations and proofreading work. In the simpler levels, many commonly misspelled everyday words are included. In the higher difficulty levels, the words become much more complex, and the quotes and proverbs are more challenging.

As the learning level increases, both the words and the associated quotes and proverbs become more challenging. Practicing one or two writing lists daily can easily be integrated into everyday life, becomes a regular routine, and provides a motivating and enjoyable learning experience with the Richtig-Schreiben app.

With quotes and proverbs from Goethe, Schiller, Fontane, Kleist, and many others, spanning different cultures and eras, the app encourages both reflection and a smile. The educational concept behind the Richtig-Schreiben app is based on an integrative approach: the words are spoken aloud, then the user writes them out completely and incorporates them into sentences. Through listening, fully writing the words, and relating them to quotes or proverbs, both spelling and memory are intensely trained. The short practice lists are specifically designed for efficient training. All mistakes are recorded in a learning list. For many common errors, there are helpful tips and additional examples. Repetitions and various training algorithms further enhance memory retention.

The mistakes are listed in practice lists and repeated using an algorithm. Personalized learning lists include all errors along with the correct spelling. In the Richtig Schreiben App, there are 10 difficulty levels, and for each completed level, you earn a medal. Each learning level typically includes 8 lessons with about 300 practice words. To motivate learners and measure their progress, there are knowledge points and learning points. Knowledge points are earned for correct answers, while learning points are awarded for correctly answering previously made mistakes.
